Objective: Become WeedCity’s most powerful Mobster : manage everything from production to sale. Make a fortune and take control of the biggest companies.
Starting up at WeedCity: You’ll start with an indoor crop of 5 plants and 4000$. You can either start by buying the necessary equipment to get your production going, which will leave you with little cash or start by buying some gear and selling it to increase your initial capital. You can also gamble : sports betting, lottery, casino, poker… It is pointless to buy the equipment for 50 plants straight away if your production capacity doesn’t exceed 5 plants. On the other hand, reading the FAQ entirely is highly recommended.
MY ACCOUNT :
Reputation : Your reputation increases when you make public sales, every time a plant is produced, and also when you recruit a new player… Your reputation determines the quantity of gear you’ll be able to sell per day at the cooperative.
Bust risk (police) : The risk of you getting busted by the cops increases when you sell your gear in public places. The bust risk increases 10% per hour if you are the seller, 5% per hour if you employ a seller or 2% per hour if your seller is accompanied by a lookout. The bust risk must never reach 100%! If you do so, you’ll be fined 30% of your capital with a minimum of 25’000$. The bust risk decreases by 1% every 2 hours when you aren’t selling in public. Your bust risk can be set back to zero at any time.
Recruitment : Recruit new players and earn 1’000$ per recruited player. This is the quickest way to increase your reputation.
Credit : Your credit represents your available cash. It mustn’t go below 0. Every Sunday night, 1% is taxed from your credit.
● Overdraft : Your credit must never go into the red. If you go overdrawn, you’ll have one week to put your account back into credit. If you don’t manage to do so, a bailiff will turn up and sell up your assets and crops.
● Bailiff : If you’ve been overdrawn for more than 7 days, a bailiff will turn up and sell up all your assets and crops and keep 50% of the sum while he’s at it. The bailiff will pay for the fine and refund you with what’s left of the cash.
If the sale of your goods isn’t enough to pay off your debts, your account will be set back to zero, and you’ll start off with 4’000$ again.
Capital : Your capital represents your credit + the value of your property assets (residences, terrains…) + the cash that’s needs laundering.
Money to launder : The cash that needs laundering comes from your public sales. To launder that money you must play the different games available : sports betting, poker, lottery, casino… When your capital reaches 1’000’000$ you’ll be able to hire an accountant who’ll launder 30% of that dirty money per day. The money to launder is taxed 2% per week.
Cover : To conceal your illegal activities you can use a cover. Your cover will allow you to receive a salary every week.
Taxes : Taxes are deducted from your credit every Sunday night at 12:00am (Paris time). Make sure you have the necessary funds to pay your taxes, if you don’t want a visit from the bailiff! You have different taxes to pay : water bill, electricity bill, salaries, rent, wealth tax…
● Water bill : You have to pay for the water used in your indoor crops and greenhouses. The amount due at the end of the week is automatically calculated when you fill up your water tank.
● Electricity bill : You have to pay for the electricity used in your indoor crops. The amount due is automatically calculated every hour, depending on the number of plants in cultivation.
● Salaries : The salaries are calculated every day and the total sum is given out to your employees at the end of the week, at the same time as your taxes. You can fire some, or all of your staff at any time, if you feel the need to.
● Property taxes : The property tax is the rent you have to pay for your different crops. It is calculated daily but you pay for them at the end of the week, along with all the other money outgoings.
● Taxes : Your gambling winnings are taxed 5% every week, except for poker which is taxed 1,66%.
● VAT on sales : The VAT on sales is of 20% and is applicable to all the sales made in your coffee-shop.
● Wealth tax : You pay a wealth tax once your capital goes above 1’000’000$. There are 6 taxation levels which vary with your capital.
Your credit is taxed 1% and your money to launder is taxed 2% per week. To keep your taxes down to a minimum you can invest in stock-exchanges or place up to 1’100’000$ at the BASIC Bank and the WEEDAX Bank.
Detective : Hire a detective to investigate on other players. Check their credit, crops, bank accounts and you’ll know everything about your friends, foes and opponents…
Thief : Hire a thief to mug the other players, you can use your thief once every 12 hours. When your thief has successfully mugged an other player, you get 30% of the gear that was currently on sale.
THE BANKS :
BASIC Bank : Borrow money, save money, anything is possible with a bank account! Opening up an account will cost 20’000$ at BASIC Bank and you’ll be able to place up to 100’000$ with an interest rate of 1.2% per day. On the other hand, withdrawals are taxed 5%. BASIC Bank also offer 4 different loans that go from 20’000$ to 250’000$.
WEEDAX Bank : You can also borrow and save money at WEEDAX Bank. Opening up an account here will cost 100’000$ and you’ll be able to place up to 1’000’000$ at an interest rate of 0,6% per day. Withdrawals are also taxed 5%. WEEDAX Bank offer a few loans as well, which go from 100’000$ to 1’500’000$.
Trader's Account : By opening a Trader’s Account you’ll become a real businessman. Buy and sell shares, in real time, on the French and American market and thus take control of the biggest and most prestigious companies . For more information about the Trader’s Account, go to the « Stock-Exchange » section further below. The Trader’s Account allows you to save money without paying so many taxes every week, and also allows you to buy and sell gear every day at WeedCity’s Stock-Exchange.
BUY / SELL :
Buy at the wholesaler : Every day you can buy a certain amount of gear at the wholesaler, depending on your reputation.
Public sales : You can make public sales at any time of day. Each selling point has a limited number of places; and some times, a selling point can be open but full. The sale price represents : seller’s price + ratio. The bust risk increases 10% per hour if you are the seller, 5% per hour if you employ a seller or 2% per hour if your seller is accompanied by a lookout. You can also hire up to 3 go-betweens which will allow you to sell up to an extra 30%. The cash made by the public sales goes straight into the money to launder account. To launder that money, you must play the different games available : sports betting, lottery, casino… Public sales will increase your reputation.
Selling at the cooperative : You can sell a certain amount of gear, depending on your reputation, every day at the cooperative.
Private sales and purchases : You can buy and sell gear to other players : the minimum and maximum sale price varies with the stock-exchange.
Your selling points: You can start up a coffee-shop to sell your gear. To open one up, you must have the 3 basic crops : indoor, greenhouse and outdoor. The coffee-shop allows you to sell large quantities of gear regularly.
● Schedule : Fix your own schedule for your business and don’t forget to fill up your coffee-shop’s stock regularly or the satisfaction level will go down, and so will your coffee-shop’s reputation.
● Reputation : When your coffee-shop’s level goes up, thanks to its reputation, you’ll be able to sell a larger amount of gear. When your coffee-shop is open, every variety of weed must be available. If a variety is missing, your coffee-shop’s reputation will go down. If your business’ reputation goes down, you’ll lose a level and thus sell less weed.
● Level : There are a 100 levels which will allow you to sell from 100’000$ up to 3’000’000$ worth of gear at the cooperative. Your level also determines the capacity of your coffee-shop’s stock which goes from 150G to 5’000G per variety.
● Sale earnings : The earnings from the sales at your coffee-shop are summed up once a day. 50% of that sum isn’t declared and so goes straight to your money to launder account; the other 50% goes to your credit.
● From level 10 + : You’ll be able to open your coffee-shop from 8:00am to 4:00am.
Filling up your coffee-shop’s stock costs 200$ each time.
CROPS :
There are 5 different types of crops :
INDOOR AND GREENHOUSE :
The different stages for indoor cultivation and greenhouse cultivation are identical :
To plant indoors you must buy all the necessary equipment : lamps, ventilators, radiators, fertiliser, pH adjuster. ● Germination : Plant your seeds, once they’ve reached 10cm, you’ll be able to transfer them into Vegetation. This stage takes 5 to 7 hours.
● Growth : This stage takes 40 to 70 hours, depending on the plant variety. All the information needed about each weed variety can be found at Seeds Bank. Regularly you’ll have to fill up the water reservoir, fertiliser reservoir and pH adjuster reservoir. If one or more of your reservoirs are empty, your plants will die! Your plants blossom automatically.
● Flowering : This stage takes 30 to 70 hours, depending on the plant variety. All the information needed about each variety can be found at Seeds Bank. Here also you must regularly fill up the different reservoirs (water, fertiliser, pH adjuster). The process of drying of your plants is done automatically.
● Drying : This stage takes 5 hours. Once your harvest is completely dry, you must transfer it to your stock.
OUTDOOR, MOROCCO and AFGHANISTAN :
The different stages to outdoor crops, and in Morocco and Afghanistan are identical :
For these 3 types of crops, you don’t need any equipment. On the other hand, you’ll need to employ a gardener to look after your plants. One gardener looks after 100 plants. You can only plant in Spring and Autumn. The maintenance of your plants is done automatically from growth to the process of drying, the only thing you have to do is collect your harvest to transfer it to your stock.
● Process : Once your harvest is dry, you can process it. This stage takes about 5 hours. When your harvest is processed, you’ll obtain 30% of the original weight (1KG = 300G). In Marocco, you get 70% of maroccan et 30% of ketama.
● Transport : There are 3 different modes of transport for your harvest: speed-boat, sailing boat, steamship. You can only do one journey at the time. Once the transport is finished, your harvest is automatically transferred to your stock.
Go on holiday : If you can’t be in front of a computer screen for a few days, you can freeze your crops. Your plants’ development will be stopped. If you’re leaving for a longer period, don’t forget that you still have to pay your wages (taxes, rent, salaries) and that your credit is still taxed 1% and your money to launder 2%, every week.
BUSINESSES :
Seeds Bank : To plant you need good quality seeds, and Seeds Bank will provide you with so. You’ll also find all the necessary information about each variety available.
Garden of Weeden : Here you’ll find all the necessary equipment to start off your crops : pots, compost, fertiliser…
● CO2 Diffuser : CO2 diffusers increase your harvest by 5 to 10%. For maximum efficiency, your CO2 diffuser capacity must be equal or greater than the number of plants in cultivation. These CO2 diffusers only work for indoor crops.
● pH Tester : A pH tester will accelerate the growth and flowering of your indoor crops by a couple of hours.
Deeds&Weed Estate Agency : You’ll be able to purchase land and property at D&W Estate Agency to realise your business expansion plan. Indoor crops, greenhouses, outdoor crops, land in Morocco and Afghanistan as well as coffee-shops are available. You can buy several properties and terrains, the rent has to be paid every Sunday night. You can also sell your assets if you’re in great need of cash : you’ll either receive 65% of its initial value on your money to launder account, or 55% that will go straight in to your credit account. Herer's Job Centre : Hire at Herer’s Job Centre all the staff you need for your empire’s expansion. The salaries are calculated every day and the total sum is given out to your employees at the end of the week, at the same time as your taxes.
● Seller : Hire a seller to sell your gear in public places. With a seller, your bust risk increases 5% per hour.
● Go-between : Each go-between will increase the amount of gear your seller sells by 10% (3 maximum).
● Look-out : With a look-out the bust risk only increases 2% per hour of public sale.
● Bodyguard : With a bodyguard your seller won’t be able to get mugged by other players.
● Gardener : You need to employ gardeners to look after your outdoor crops. One gardener can look after 100 plants.
● Detective : Hire a detective to find out everything about other players.
● Thief : With a thief you’ll be able to mug other players during their public sales.
● Coffee-Shop seller : To run a coffee-shop, you need to employ sellers.
● Accountant : As soon as your capital reaches 1’000’000$, you can hire an accountant to launder your money. He’ll launder 30% of that dirty cash per day.
GAMES :
The games allow you to launder your money, but also to make a quick fortune… for the more daring types. All your gambling winnings are taxed 5% every week, except for poker which is taxed 1,66%.
Bweed : With Bweed bet on the biggest sports events : football, rugby, tennis, baseball, horse races…more than 500 new bets every week! Place simple bets with Bweed on a single sport event or a multiple bet by selecting several sports events to improve the odds. You can’t bet more than 10% of your capital on one bet. To win, you must give the result of the match before the dead-line. The winnings are given out about 30 minutes after the dead-line.
Poker: Play poker with Weed Poker : Heads Up No Limit Hold’em poker (head to head). You can play a simple game : Weed poker has 3 tables available, one of 100$, one of 500$ and one of 1’000$.
Lottery : Play the lottery. Choose 2 numbers out of 18. There’s a lottery draw every day at 12:00am (Paris time). If there are no winners, the money is added to the next draw. You can validate up to 20 grids per day. The order of the numbers isn’t important : 5 - 12 is the equivalent of 12 - 5.
Big lottery : Play the Big Lottery! Choose 2 numbers out of 18 and one star number out of 4. The Big Lottery draw takes place every day at 12:00am (Paris time). If there are no winners, the money is added to the next draw. You can validate up to 20 grids per day.
Flash 10 : Play Flash 10. There’s a draw every 10 minutes. To play, you must pick 4 numbers between 1 and 21.
Casino : Play the roulette at WeedCity’s casino.
STOCK-EXCHANGE :
By opening a Trader’s Account you’ll become a real businessman. Buy and sell shares, in real time, on the French and American market and thus take control of the biggest and most prestigious companies. You can buy shares at any time, their performance will be made known to you at the opening of the Stock-Exchange. The funds that are transferred to your Trader’s Account won’t be taxed every week unlike the available funds in your credit or money to launder account, which are taxed every Sunday night (12:00am Paris time).
French market : You can buy and sell shares on the French market. Paris Stock-Exchange is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm (Paris time).
American market : America’s Stock-Exchange is open from Monday to Friday, from 2:00pm to 10:30pm (Paris time).
Weedcity's market : WeedCity’s Stock-Exchange is open every day of the week from 8:00am to 12:00am (Paris time).
